This text, given as a chapter of the vātulāgama, deals with the process of installing an image of serpent for worship. The word sarpa in the colophon (fol. 211a) seems to be redundant. Fols. 211b and 212a contain some more materials on the subject. In the former, the sarpagāyatrī is given and in the latter, the worship of aṣṭamahānāga-s. This chapter is not so far found in the available Mss. of the vātulāgama
