This text gives the procedure for preparing pañcagavya from 5 ingredients obtained from the cow : milk, ghee, curds, urine and cow-dung. The colophon on fol. 237b 1.6 reads : iti śāstṛśāstre uttamapañcagavyavidhidvātriṃśaḥ vātulapaṭalaḥ। śāstṛśāstra is not available. The word, vātulapaṭala may be taken to mean that this topic is treated in the 32nd chapter of the vātulāgama. In this Ms. there are many rituals mainly dealing with the deity śāstā. From the quotations and statements found in this Ms., it seems there is a section in vātulāgama specially dealing with śāstā. There are some Tamil expressions used here and there in this text
