Fol.1 contains an introduction in Tamil to the makāpāratam. An unnumbered fol. at the beginning contains verse with gloss in praise of vināyaka. Fol. 1A has a reference to the part played by sahadeva which is not bearing the contents of the text. This text contains the section IV of uttiyokaparuva of the makāpārata of villipputtūrār of the 15th century. Kṛṣṇa's work as a messenger on behalf of the pāṇḍavas is recounted in 257 verses. The text begins with the commentary on verse 6 (3 in the printed edn.) and goes to the end of this section. The printed edition of V.M. Satakoparamanujacharya and C.Krishnamacharya, kannan Press, Madras 1964 has 264 verses in this Parva. The text has also a Tamil gloss whose authorship is not known. This agrees with Ms. no.64 of the Tanjore Library, Vide:- Tamil Cat. I pp. 343-345
