Miscellaneous Notes

Similar to Cat. no.230.6. This text deals with the ṣaḍadhvanyāsa which is performed by touching various parts of the liṅga to be installed. It is done while uttering the mantra-s prescribed according to the 6 paths (ṣaḍadhvan), which are mantra, varṇa, pada, tattva, kalā and bhuvana in order to infuse divine power to the liṅga. The procedure given in the text under notice is the same as in the printed edn. of 'sivaliṅgapratiṣṭhāvidhi (SIAA. 1964, pp.276-290). Since some fols. are lost after folṇo.140(130). Missing fols. are 131-149 (according to marginal writing)
