This text contains a brief treatment of dīkṣā. At the outset, certain restrictions are placed before initiation is undertaken. Pollution (āśauca) consequent upon the birth of a child, following a funeral procession and others are to be carefully understood and initiation shall not be undertaken while the aspirant is affected by these. Passages are cited from the pārameśvara, the kāmika and the somaśambhupaddhati. Brief treatment is given to the nirvāṇa and other kinds of dīkṣā. The text is of unknown authorship. Fol. 1a and b contains the list of text contained in this Ms. their fol. nos. being 48 to 95, fol. 2a and b have the same list with fol. nos. 96-115 and fol. 3a-b have the same list with fols. nos. 1 to 47. The first text in this Ms. begins on fol. 4 (marked 158 in the margin). This shows that this Ms. has lost fols. 1 to 157 and that the texts with fol. nos. are also not noted for 116-157. Fol. 16 deals with ekādaśīvrata. Fol. 19 contains the detailed contents of this text

pārameśvare - garbhiṇīprasavāntantu śivaṃ sampūjayet guruḥ। śavānugamanañ caiva vapanaṃ sindhusevanam। antarvatnyāḥ patiḥ kurvan naprajābhavati dhruvam। anyatra : kṣauraṃ śavānugamanannakhakṛtanañ ca śrāddhañ ca vāstukaraṇavtviti dūrayānam। udvāhamambuidhiniṣevanaṃ adriyogam āyukṣayaṃ (?) bhavati garbhiṇikāpatīnām iti sūtakapretakāśauce dīkṣitāś ca praveśakāḥ। ātmārthayajanaṃ kuryān na kuryāt tu parārthakam iti। sarvadā sarvakāleṣu kuryād dīkṣāṃ viśeṣataḥ। tithivāramuhūrtañ ca varjayed deśi-kottamaḥ। rajābhiṣeke garbhiṇyām vidyādāne dhanārjane। dīkṣāyāṃ yāgaśālāyāṃ kālakṣepan na kārayet॥
