This text contains both the mantra and the yantra pertaining to the worship of śāśtā. On fol. 2b the colophon reads, "iti śrīmatākāśābhairavakalpe pratyakṣasiddhiprade umāmaheśvarasaṃvāde śaṃkareṇa viracite śarabhasāluvaśapakṣirājakalpe mahāśāśtāmantro nāma catvāriṃśo'dhyāyaḥ". Then follow the preliminaries of doing śāśtṛmantrajapa. This text is similar to the mahāśāśtṛmahāmantra, found in the ākāśabhairavakalpa, published by "Srīkayamaya Research Institute, Delhi, 1981, pp. 132-133. This is similar to Cat. no. 88.19. Fly-leaf [Aa] contains some floral designs and salutaions to paradevatā, etc.; fly-leaf [Ab], names of the owners of the Ms.; fly-leaf [B], salutations to hariharaputra, etc., fol. [17a], śloka to be recited while sipping the sanctified water after the rite śūryanamaskār"; fol. [19b], the words, itu saktigaṇapati; [fol.32b], a fragment of mahāśāstṛmahāmantra also; fol. [42b], a śloka inviting śiva to receive the pūjā; fol. [43a], mantra and recipe (mixed with Tamil words) for doing jalastambhana (floating on the water), garuḍayantralakṣaṇa and the method of drawing it; fol. [45], pañcākṣaramantra (mixed with Tamil words) to remove the pain of scorpion - stings; fol. [46a], different forms of the pañcākṣaramantra to be used while doing jalastambhana, etc.; fol. [50a], drawing of santānagopālayantra and bījākṣara-s, etc., fols. [51a-54b], recipes in Tamil for curing ailments like vomitting; fol. [55a], a few lines on śivapūjā; fols. [55b-56b], some yantra-s for occult purposes; fol. [57], parameśvarīmantra and aśvārūḍhāmantra; for fol. [58a], sketches of some yantra-s; fol. [59a], pañcākṣarayantra, etc. (Sanskrit and Tamil mixed); fol. [60], mantra to attract ladies, etc. (Sanskrit and Tamil mixed); fol. [61a] contains names of eight nāga-s starting with ananta, and some mantra of venkaṭaramaṇa (mixed with Tamil)
