atha vakṣye viśeṣ.eṇa prāyaścittavidhiṃ śṛṇu। kṛttikākhye tu māse tu kṛttikādīpahīnakam। tat tat kālavihīnañ ca nyūnaṃ vātiriktam eva ca। snapanaṃ śāntihomañ ca ghṛtasnānaṃ viśeṣataḥ।

tat kāle dīpam āropya pūrvoktavidhinā saha। āyuḥ kīrtiñ ca vṛddhiñ ca dhanadhānyapradaṃ bhavet। iti svāyambhuve kṛttikādīpaprāyaścittavidhipaṭalaḥ।
