It contains the following topics : 1. 20a : brahmaśāpavimocanamahāmantra; 2. 20a-20b : vasiṣṭhaśāpavimocanamahāmantra; 3. 20b-21a : viśvāmitraśāpavimocanamahāmantra; 4. 21a-21b : sarvaśāpavimocanamahāmantra. According to legend gāyatrī was cursed by brahmā, vasiṣṭha, etc. and when the mantra-s found in this text are recited gāyatrī becomes free from the said curses

asya śrībrahmaśāpavimocanamahāmantrasya brahmā ṛṣiḥ। gāyatrī chandaḥ। bhuktimuktipradabrahmaśāpavimocanī gāyatrīśaktir devatā। brahmaśāpavimocanārthe jape viniyogaḥ।
