śrīmahāgaṇapataye namaḥ। atha yogaṃ pravakṣyāmi jñānavijñānahetukam। kaivalyaphaladaṃ puṃsāṃ śṛṇuṣvābjabhavodbhava। yogas tu dvividho vipra vedeṣu paripaṭhyate। sālambo'tha nirālamba iti dvaividhyam ucyate।

uttarottarato'bhyāsāt yogasyaiva prabhāvataḥ। śivatulyam avāpnoti śivam evāpnuyāt kramāt। iti paramarahasye sañjīvini[ī]vidyāyāṃ sālambayogo nāma ṣaṣṭho'dhyāyaḥ। śrīnīlakaṇṭhapadāravindābhyān nāmḥ।
