This text contians 38 chapters. Among these the āgamasthāpanavidhi describes briefly the procedure of preparing the āgama texts, the material to be used and its consecration. The pāṣāṇapratyayavidhi lays down the method by which the truthfulness or otherwise of a person is found out. The paraśupratyayavidhi describes the rituals, etc., for making an axe out of gold or silver which again is used in determining the truthfulness of a person are worshipped after fire-rituals. The words "true" and "untrue" are written in a palm-leaf and kept on the head of the goddess which is circumambulated by the priest. The truth is supposed to be determined within 6 months. The senāstambhavidhi and the aśvastambhavidhi are rites by which the movements of the enemies' army and their horses can be arrested. Two texts on the aṣṭamīpūjā differ slightly from each other and two on the gauryarcana are incomplete. The sthānanirdeśavidhi deals with the construction of a temple, pavilions, etc.There are 13 T.Mss. of the aṃśumadāgama in the IFP. Some of the topics here like senāstambhavidhi, dīpārohaṇavidhi and japalakṣaṇavidhi are treated in all other T.Mss., ; other topics are found only in some. The topics 2, 4-11, 13, 15, 17-20, 24, 25, 27, 29-31, 34, 36-38 are found in IFP.T.273; T. 889 contains the topics 1, 3, 12, 22, 23 and 28; the topics 14, 16, 26 and 32 are in T. 1007 while topic 21 is found in T.745. Topics 23 and 33 are incomplete; 35 is not found in any of the T.Mss. Topic 5 treats pañcāmṛtavidhi but the colophon calls it pañcagavyavidhi
