This text deals with theinstallation of vṛṣabha, śiva's vehicle. Though the colophon mentions it to be part of the kāraṇāgama, the printed edition CP, pp.339-40 differs much from the text under notice.This forms part of the vīrāgama IFI.T. 47, pp.126-133

praṇamya bhagavantaṃ hi brahmā vacanamabravīt। vṛṣabhasthāpanaṃ ko vā tatsarvaṃ brūhi me prabho। īśvara uvāca tatsarvam akhilaṃ vakṣye 'sṛṇuṣva kamalāsana। pūjāṃśoccaparamāṇena adhamaṃ vṛṣabhaṃ bhavet। pūjāṃśaṃ pañcadhā bhitvā ekāṃśena samanvitam॥

havirdadyāt viśeṣeṇa tāmbūlandāpayet tataḥ। ācāryadakṣiṇāndadyāt padādīn pūjayet tataḥ। brāhmaṇān bhojayet tatra janān sarvān ca bhojayet। evaṃ yaḥ kurute martyassa puṇyāṃ gatimāpnuyāt। iti kārṇe pratiṣṭhātantre vṛṣabhadevapratiṣṭhāvidhipaṭalaḥ।
