There are 4 paṭala-s. The first work deals with the installation of śiva in the form of tripurāri. It agrees well with the kāraṇāgama (pūrva) SIAA, pp.483-489 where it is called purāristhāpanavidhi. The second work gives the procedure for the installation of the idol in the form of half viṣṇu and half śiva. This is different from the printed edn. ch.62 (uttara) SIAA but agrees well with IFI.T. 449.pp.113-117. The third contains the procedure of installing the ardhanārīśvara form of śiva. It differs from the printed edn. ch.80 (CP) but has good agreement with IFI.T. 449, pp.117-120. The last work deals with the procedure for installing kaṅkālamūrti, a form of śiva. It agrees with the kāraṇāgama (pūrva), printed edn. (CP) pp. 468-73. In the IFP Descriptive Catalouge, Vol.III, these four texts are written separately

atha vakṣye viśeṣeṇa purāristhāpanaṃ param। ripughnaṃ 'satruvijayaṃ bhuktimuktiphalapradam। uttarāyaṇakāle tu śuklapakṣe śubhe dine। 'subhavārādibhir yukte sthāpanaṃ tu samārabhet। prāguktavidhinā pūrvamaṅkurāṇyarpayet suddhīḥ। maṇḍape gomayālipte vitānādyaiśca śobhite।

utsavaṃ kārayeddhīmān yathāvibhavavistaram। evaṃ bhikṣāṭanasyoktaṃ mandanañca vinā dvija। evaṃ yaḥ kurute martyassa puṇyāṃ gatim āpnuyāt। iti kāraṇe pratiṣṭhātantre kaṅkālamūrtisthāpanapaṭalaḥ। dhyānam: raktābhaṃ smitavaktramindumakuṭaṃ vāme tu dordaṇḍake। trayakṣaṃ vedakarānvitaṃ śatadhṛte kaṅkālavīṇādharaṃ savye dhaṣṭa(?) dharaṃ pare ḍamarukaṃ savyopasavye kramāt ṭankaṃ kṛṣṇamṛgandadhānamaniśaṃ kaṅkāladevaṃ bhaje। anyatsarvam induśekharapratiṣṭhāvat। hariḥ oṃ। śubham astu। subrahmaṇyagurukkal grantham। svahastalikhitam॥
