Page - 53, l - 1; śubham astu । avighnamastu । garuḍapurāṇam ॥ śrīgurubhyo namaḥ ॥ śrīmadānandatīrthabhagavatpadā- cāryebhyo namaḥ । śrīhayagrīvāya namaḥ । śrīlakṣmīnarasiṃhāya namaḥ ॥ hariḥ om ॥ namo nārāyaṇāyaiva tasmai vai mūlarūpiṇe । namaskṛtvā pravakṣyāmi nārāyaṇakathāmimāṃ ॥ 1 ॥ śainakādyā mahātmānaḥ ṛṣayo brahmavādinaḥ । naimiṣākhye mahāraṇye tapastepurmumukṣavaḥ ॥ 2 ॥
