This text contains benedictory verse which are uttered by the priest in the temple on the occasion of festivals for the well-fare of the country. Curṇikā-s belong to the daṇḍaka type of prose compositions but are treated as different from the daṇḍaka. This is different from that found on pp. 26-31 of IFI.T. no. 366. There are 11 cūrṇikā-s which are different in the printed edn. of aghoraśivācārya's mahotsavavidhi

deveśasya virājamānaviduṣāṃ sevārthamāgacchatām। viprāṇāmiva rājñāṃ prabhūṇāṃ budhaḥ॥ śrīmadgrāmanivāsināṃ prativacaḥ kartuṃ samutsāhinām। āśīrvādamidaṃ karomi viduṣāṃ sabrahmaghoṣa jayam॥ kailāsaśailadhavalāṅgavirājamānaṃ tīkṣṇeṣuśṛṅgasitacāmarabhūṣaṇādhyam। vande lalāmakalitaṃ śivayogayogyaṃ kuṇḍenduhaṃsakapardojjvalanandikeśam॥ namo vṛṣabhadevāya pītasvarṇasvarūpiṇe। tīkṣṇaśṛṅgāya tuṅgāya vedapādāya te namaḥ॥
