Adhivāsana is a preparatory rite performed for an image or idol which is, kept for this purpose, to stay in water, milk or bed and other specified places to make it fit to get the presence of the deity through presribed rituals. The name śāstṛsthāpana is written on the margin of fol. 130a but the text does not contain this topic. There are two more lines in the text under notice which are not traceble to IFI.T. 242a. The subject of samprokṣaṇavidhi under notice in fols. 134a is almost similar to that on p. 15 of IFI. T. 242a where the colophon refers to the treatment as based on the pādmasaṃhitā

suvāre sumhūrte ca śuklapakṣe śubhe dine। maṇṭapasyottare bhāge śālimaṇḍalaṃ vinyaset॥ madhyasthaṃ sarasīvṛttaṃ ṣaḍaśraṃ karṇikāṃ yajet। darbhaiḥ puṣpaiḥ paristīrya madhyasthaṃ kumbhalakṣaṇam॥ karkarīyugmadeśe tu paritaḥ pālikā raviḥ। sasūtrān sāpidhānaṃ ca cūtāśvattadaleṣu ca॥ nālikeraṃ sakūrcantu vastraratnamalaṃkṛtam। bījadravyaṃ kṣipet tathā kṣīraṃ goḥ pūrayet suddhīḥ॥
