This text deals with the installation of subrahmaṇya. According to the colophon this treatment forms part of the kumāratantra. Neither the printed edition of this tantra (SIAA) and grantha edition, Madras 1913 nor IFI.T. 431 and 472 have a versified version of this topic. IFI.T. 449(pp.352-356) contains a version identical with that in the text under notice but not stated as the part of the kumāratantra

subrahmaṇyapratiṣṭhāvidhirucyate। tadyathā। vāstuśānti aṅkurārpaṇa jalādhivāsanamaṇḍapapūjāgnikāryacaruhavanaprāyaścitta.........vṛtyajalottīrṇakautukabandhanordhvavaktraṃ śāyayitvā tataḥ skandasya dakṣiṇavāmapārśve gajāya gajavallīntadvat saṃsthāpya........(kumbhe?) pūjayet।
