Miscellaneous Notes

This text seems to belong to aruṇācalpaddhati-a text for ritual followed in tiruvaṇṇāmalai temple. It contains a few śloka-s which are sung in a set melody following a particular tāla. In the margin there are 2 titles vṛṣabhatāla and aruṇācalapaddhatinūlu. Since these śloka-s are in praise of vṛṣabha, the bull of śiva, the tāla is called vṛṣabhatāla. IFI.T. 366, pp.25 deals with this but it is different from the text under notice
