athāto grahaṇaśāntiṃ vyākhyāsyāmaḥ। yasya janmanakṣatre janmāṃśake janmalagne vā candrasūryoparāgo yadi māsān maraṇaprado bhavati। vipaj jaya pratyare mahādoṣaṃ prāpnuyāt। tac chāntikramaṃ vyākhyāsyāmaḥ। śrotriyānacāraparān ṣaḍadhikadaśabrāhmaṇān āhūya śucau deśe gomyena gocarmamātrañ caturaśraṃ sthaṇḍilam upalipya puṇyāhaṃ vācayitvā॥

candroparāgadoṣāntaṃ pīḍāmantra(ṃ) vyapohatu। rakṣogaṇādhipas sākṣāt pralayānilasannibhaḥ॥ khaḍgavyagrotrbhīmaś ca rakṣaḥpīdāṃ vyapohatu। nāgapāśadharo devas sadā makaravāhanaḥ। sa jalādhipaś candragrahapīḍāṃ vyapohatu। prāṇarūpeṇa yo devaḥ kṛṣṇacarmamṛgapriyaḥ॥
