This text notes the evils that would befall a person when a lizard falls on him and also shows how such evil effects could be got over. In a way, this agrees with the treatment contained in the printed text śāntikusumākara II pp. 67-71, Grantha, Kumbhokonam 1936. The colophon in the text under notice states that the text forms part of vṛddhagargasaṃhitā cf GOML.D. 3296

śiromadhye patet gauLī mātāpitror guror mṛtiḥ। pārśve dakṣiṇake bhrātā jyeṣṭho vāme kaniṣṭhakaḥ॥ pitaro mātulaṃ hanti lalāṭe paṭṭabandhanam॥ mukhe netre ca nāsāgre śrotrayoś 'sastrapīḍanam।

jāpakebhyo hiraṇyañ ca dadyāt brāhmaṇabhojanam। itthaṃ san(m)yagvidhānena 'sāntikarmakaroti yaḥ। tasyāyur vijayo lakṣmīḥ kīrtirvṛddhiś ca jāyate। pallīsaraṭaśāntes tu vidhānaṃ śaunakāya ca। kīrtidañ caiva sarvatravṛddhi(r)gārgyeṇa bhāṣitam॥ iti vṛddhagārgyasaṃhitāyāṃ pallīsaraṭaśāntividhia samāmptā(aḥ)॥ hariḥ oṃ॥
