sukhāsīnaṃ muniśreṣṭhagarbhaṃ munigaṇairvṛtam। kṛtāñjalipuṭo bhūtvā muniḥ papraccha śaunakaḥ। jyeṣṭhānakṣatrasambhūtagaṇḍadoṣanivṛttaye। śāntikarma muniśreṣṭha yathāvat kathayādya me॥ gārgyaḥ - ghaṭikaikā ca mūlādyai jyeṣṭhān te ghaṭikādvayam। ṛkṣasiddhir iti jñeyaṃ śiśūnāṃ gaṇḍam īritaḥ॥

gaṇḍadoṣanivṛttyarthaṃ svarṇadānaṃ svaśaktitaḥ। ṛtvigbhyo'tha viśeṣeṇa pūjayitvā pradāpayet॥ brāhmaṇān bhojayet paścāt ṛtvigbhyo'tha viśeṣeṇa pūjayitvā pradāpayet॥ brāhmaṇān bhojayet paścāt ṛtvibhir-bandhubhis saha॥ jyeṣṭhādau jyeṣṭhajaṃ hanti dvitiye'pyatha sodaram॥ tṛtīye vittanāśasyāt svayan nāśaś caturthake॥ iti gargasaṃhitāyāṃ jyeṣṭhānakṣatraśāntis samāptā॥ hariḥ oṃ। śubham astu॥
