This text describes the method of overcoming the evil effects consequent upon the fall of kṛkalāsa on a person. The treatment is stateed to have been taken from a sarvasaṃgraha according to the colophon on fol. 45a. This agrees to some extent with the treatment in the śāntikusumākara I (Grantha, kumbakonam 1935) pp. 126-128 where jyotiṣārṇavasaṃgraha is stated to be the source for this treatment
